We aim to give all students the chance to improve their physical ability, knowledge and fitness levels across a range of activity areas. The aim is to promote, and establish, long-term healthy choices. We teach a broad and balanced curriculum to allow all students to flourish. We encourage participation for all via a “Kit 4 All” policy that ensures students can contribute in lessons through participation, officiating or through other leadership opportunities.
The faculty has use of a sports hall, gymnasium, fitness suite, multi use games area (MUGA) and generous playing fields. Regular after school clubs are held throughout the year to ensure that students have ample opportunities to participate in activities and for school representation. The PE Faculty also organises Inter-House sport on a regular basis culminating in the annual House Sports Day, a highlight of the sporting calendar.
